After two successful seasons, Legends League Cricket is set to return with the next season from February 27, 2023, to March 8, 2023, which will be played in Qatar and Oman. Adding more excitement to the tournament, the LLC has announced the inclusion of some incredible star players who once dominated cricket.

In a couple of Instagram posts, LLC revealed that stars of the game like Muttiah Muralitharan, Misbah - ul - Haq, Shahid Afridi, Robin Uthappa and Sreesanth will be part of the 2023 season. Muralitharan, Misbah and Afridi will be playing for the Asia Lions franchise. While Uthappa and Sreesanth will represent the Indian Maharajas' side.
Addressing the 2023 season, the tournament will be called LLC Masters and feature 3 teams, the aforementioned India Maharajas, Asia Lions and the World Giants. Season 2 of Legends League Cricket had 4 franchises with 85 legends and was played in India. But the upcoming season will be a repeat of the first season which had former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and England.
The Co-Founder & CEO of the Legends League Cricket Raman Raheja expressed excitement about the new season and talked about how 60 cricketing legends will be divided into three teams for the new season. He said, "After a super successful season of Legends League Cricket-season 2, we are pleased to announce that we are coming back as LLC Masters. We had invitations from Qatar and Oman so we shall be splitting the season in 2 cities of Doha and Muscat."
"And about 60 top players, essentially Legends of Cricket, would be playing in the upcoming season but this time representing their countries, unlike the previous Franchise season. Players like Gambhir, Gayle, Harbhajan, Watson, Irfan & Yusuf Pathan amongst others from India, Australia, England, Pakistan, SA, Sri Lanka, etc are going to be playing in the LLC Masters," he added.
