The sixth match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) between RCB and KKR went down to the last over but that irritated the cricket fans a bit. After bowling KKR for a mere 128, RCB lost the plot early in the innings as they lost three wickets in the powerplay. RCB's main batters, Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli, both lost their wicket leaving the job for the rest of the batters.
Sherfane Rutherford and David Willey stitched a partnership, but KKR kept striking at regular intervals. This made things a bit intense as at one moment it seemed like RCB are going to lose. However, some clean hitting by Harshal Patel and Dinesh Karthik at the fag end ensured RCB finishes on the right side.
This low-scoring thriller between RCB and KKR enticed some interesting reactions from the fans, with most of them expressing displeasure at RCB's approach to the game. However, some also brought praiseworthy words for Umesh Yadav who struck two times inside the powerplay to derail RCB's chase.
