MS Dhoni has been an integral part of Indian cricket since his debut in 2004. He used to work as a ticket collector for Indian railways before 2004. He was handed over the reigns of national captaincy in 2007 during the World T20 in South Africa. Since then he went on to win every single major ICC tournament. Not only is he recognized as India’s most successful captain but is also one of the greatest wicket keepers to grace the game.
He has been a stalwart figure in the IPL too. He is one of the very few people to have featured in every IPL season since its inception in 2008. He is the skipper of the Chennai Super Kings who are arguably one of the most successful teams in the league. He has led CSK to four IPL titles and two CLT20 titles which is a massive achievement for any captain. Due to his great longevity, he is loved and respected by fans from all walks of life.
