Famously known as 'The Baddy', the 26-year-old is undoubtedly one of the most lethal fighters in the world. He has a 14-3 record at Cage Warriors, the Irish mixed martial arts promotion, based in London, England. After his consistent performances in the ring, Paddy has finally received a call for Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Is Paddy ready for UFC?
The 26-year-old fighter has had an amazing time at the Cage Warriors. He is a former Featherweight titleholder and he ended his time with promotion in style. In his last match, Paddy defeated Davide Martinez via submission (rear-naked choke) on March 20, 2021. The outstanding performance from 'The Baddy' was a testimony that he is perfectly ready for UFC.
What lies ahead for 'The Baddy'?
Paddy will now join Conor McGregor and Michael Bisping at UFC, who are also alumni of Cage Warriors. The 26-year-old has been compared to 'Notorius' for years now and it will be interesting to see if the Liverpool fighter can replicate similar success to the Irishman.
