With the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 set to get underway from Wednesday, February 19 in Pakistan and the UAE, Rohit Sharma-led Team India will begin their campaign against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai from February 20. After this, the Men in Blue will take on arch-rivals Pakistan in the much-awaited clash of the tournament on February 23.
With stakes already high ahead of India versus Pakistan Champions Trophy 2025, the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma also opened up on the much-hyped clash. Speaking exclusively with Star Sports, the 37-year-old, who will be hoping to lead the side for another ICC trophy, expressed excitement while hailing the Mohammad Rizwan-led Men in Green.

“They have played good cricket in recent years, especially in limited overs,” Rohit Sharma exclaimed when asked about their arch-rivals' recent performance. “We will be playing in the UAE, which used to be their home ground,” the Indian batter added.
Under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, India ended their ICC trophy drought in June 2024 when they lifted the T20 World Cup, beating South Africa in a thriller. Recently, the Men in Blue whitewashed England at home in a three-match ODI series. The Indian skipper shone with the bat, scoring 119 off 90 deliveries in the second ODI to help India take an unssailable lead in the series.
