The depleted Lahore Qalandars are set to host Shan Masood’s Karachi King on February 24, in Lahore. The defending champions are currently placed at fifth position and are yet to win a match in the ninth edition of PSL.
Shaheen Afridi’s side started this season on the back of two consecutive PSL title wins, which came in 2022 and 2023. However, this time they failed to come as a unit as only opener Sahibzada Farhan and Rassie van der Dussen managed to score fifties for the team so far.
Karachi Kings, on the other hand, came back superbly after starting the tournament with a defeat. Their batting unit which includes the likes of Kieron Pollard, who thrashed 49 unbeaten in the successful run-chase against Peshawar Zalmi.
