The second match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is underway in Mohali with Punjab Kings going head-to-head with Kolkata Knight Riders. After the start of the second innings saw a slight delay, the Punjab went full throttle as they dismantled the KKR batters inside the powerplay.

But with Afghanistan star Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the middle, the young batter smashed IPL 2023’s first 101m six. This took place on the fifth delivery of the second innings off Sam Curran with Gurbaz coming ahead and smashing it over wide long-on.
Seeing this massive hit, fans were quick to heap praise of the Afghan player. While some hailed his hitting prowess, a few others reacted on his batting as he walked in to open the innings.
