For those unversed, Tilak Varma has represented India in U19 and also plays for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. The southpaw impressed everyone with his ability to take control of things when he is in the middle. Varma starred for MI in a forgettable season during IPL 2022. Varma scored 397 runs in 14 matches at an average of 36.09 with the help of two half-centuries.

Now, coming back to Jadeja, the Saurashtra cricketer has been out of action since the Asia Cup 2022. The first Test will be played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
