Mumbai Indians registered a hat-trick of wins as they defeated Chennnai Super Kings by nine wickets in match number 38 of IPL 2025 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This was MI's fourth win of the season which put them at the sixth spot in the points table. The main highlight of the match was Rohit Sharma getting his form back as he scored an unbeaten 76 runs off just 45 balls. Along with him, Suryakumar Yadav also scored 68*(30) runs as MI chased the winning target in 15.4 overs.
Despite CSK lost the game, there were still some positives for them take from the match. One of them includes 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre making his IPL debut and scoring a fiery 32 runs off just 17 balls in his first game. Apart from that, Ravindra Jadeja and Shivam Dube scored respective half-centuries as CSK posted a total of 176/5 in their 20 overs.
