Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan didn’t hold back after Pakistan violated the ceasefire just a few hours after the agreement with India. As the tensions kept increasing between both the neighbouring countries at the border, United States President Donald Trump came as a mediator and convinced both the countries to agree to a ceasefire on May 10. However, on the same day of the mutual agreement between the countries, Pakistan launched multiple drone attacks targeting Indian regions such as Srinagar and Kutch barely three hours into the ceasefire.
Reacting to Pakistan violating the ceasefire, Shikhar Dhawan harshly trolled the neighbouring country. “Ghatiya desh ne fir apna ghatiyapan poori duniya ke aage dikha diya,” Dhawan wrote on his X post. This is not the first time that Dhawan came out heavily on Pakistan amidst the ongoing tensions between both the countries. Earlier also, he slammed former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi for his comments against the Indian Army over the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
“Kargil mein bhi haraya tha, already itna gire hue ho aur kitna giroge, bewajah comments pass karne se acha hai apne desh ki taraqqi mai dimag lagao Shahid Afridi. Humein hamari Indian Army par bohot garv hai. Bharat Mata Ki Jai! Jai Hind!” Dhawan wrote on X as his reply to Afridi over his provocative comments against the Indian Army.
Virender Sehwag comes out heavliy on Pakistan for ceasefire violation
Apart from Shikhar Dhawan, another former Indian opener Virender Sehwag also slammed Pakistan for violating the ceasefire. Sehwag shared a photo on his X post which quoted “Kutte ki dum tedhi ki tedhi hi rehti hai.”
Earlier as well, Sehwag shared a post regarding the ongoing situation between India and Pakistan where he wrote “War has been chosen by Pakistan when they had an opportunity to keep quiet. They have escalated to save it’s terrorist assets, speaks so much about them. Our forces will reply in the most appropriate manner, a manner Pakistan will never forget.”
