The relationship between Suresh Raina and Chennai Super Kings might have officially come to an end after the franchise decided to not bid for Mr. IPL in mega auctions, but it seems like there is no love lost between the two parties. While CSK shared a brilliant farewell tribute for Chinna Thala, the veteran has also continued to follow the franchise's activities on social media and he recently also expressed his love and appreciation for one of his ex teammates.
As Ambati Rayudu arrived in Surat for the preparatory camp ahead of IPL 2022, the franchise put an Instagram post to welcome him with caption, "Amba-ck in the house of Yellove! ?" With the photos of Ravindra Jadeja, DJ Bravo and MS Dhoni behind him, the franchise added in the caption, "PS: Friendship is in the frame!"
As it turned out, there was one more friend of Rayudu in comments section, whose presence was rather unexpected but delightful for the fans. It was in fact Suresh Raina, who has been involved in some epic partnerships with Rayudu in the middle for CSK.
Raina wrote, "Legend ❤️?" and it was Mr. IPL who stole all the limelight in the comments section. In a matter of 1 hour, his comment got more than 9000 likes and 850 replies which speak volumes about how much CSK fans and cricket lovers adore the cricketer.

With just a few days remaining for the upcoming season of IPL to begin, Suresh Raina has been trending on Twitter. While some fans want him to be signed by Gujarat Titans as replacement of Jason Roy, a few CSK fans have now started to request the franchise to get Chinna Thala back in case they are required to sign a replacement for Deepak Chahar.
