The IPL 2023 fixture between Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals was witness to a hilarious interaction between Jio Cinema commentators  Suresh Raina and  Aakash Chopra. The duo were discussing the next game between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals when the topic of passes for the fixture came up.

With this fixture involving the  Super Kings,  Suresh Raina asked Aakash Chopra if he had some extra passes for the game as Chopra has played for Delhi for multiple years. Raina said, " If you get some extra passes, please give them for the next game." Reacting to this query, Aakash Chopra had a hilarious response as he begged Raina to take his life over the passes. Chopra was heard saying,  "Take my life but don't ask for passes."

Going back to the  Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals game, the 2008 Champions registered a thrilling win in the final over. RR was chasing 187 which was scored on the back of some big knocks by  Sam Curran,  Jitesh Sharma and  Shahrukh Khan.

Then in the second innings, after Jos Buttler's early wicket, the young duo of  Devdutt Padikkal and  Yashasvi Jaiswal steadied the Rajasthan inning and built a platform for other batters to finish off the game.  Then cameos by  Shimron Hetmyer and  Dhruv Jurel helped the Royals over the line.

Reacting to this RR captain Sanju Samson said, "I think at the end of the game, when Hety (Hetmyer) was going strong we thought we will finish by 18.5. We have a quality team and it is a little shocking to see where we stand on the table. I have been talking about Jasiwal almost every game. He has shown maturity. It feels he has played 100 T20Is. Almost 90 per cent of the times we feel Boult will take a wicket in the first over. We were under pressure in the last few games."
