Netizens slammed umpires after Virat Kohli’s controversial dismissal during clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Royal Challengers Bengaluru travelled to Kolkata for a thrilling game against the Shreyas Iyer-led side on April 21, Sunday. During the third over of the RCB’s innings, Harshit Rana delivered a slow full-toss and Kohli gave a straight catch to the bowler.
However, the former RCB captain thought that the ball was above his waist and quickly went for a review. The replays showed that Kohli was standing outside the crease and the ball was dipping enough to end up at Kohli’s waist if he was in his normal batting stance. As a result, the result was ruled against RCB. The batting wizard was left fuming as he walked back and saw something before he slammed his bat and gloves on the ground.
