Rohit Sharma & men will take on Afghanistan in their next match at the ongoing ODI World Cup. The two sides, who are already in Delhi, will go head-to-head at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, which also saw South Africa post the highest-ever total on the board in ODI World Cup history on Saturday, October 7.

This match will also see former India skipper Virat Kohli face Naveen-ul-Haq after the last time they got into a heated argument in the Indian Premier League 2023. Recalling the same incident, the Afghan skipper during the pre-match presser added that the aggression is only seen on the ground. “The aggression is only on ground,” Shahidi said.
The two cricketers from the different nations were involved in an on-field altercation in the IPL match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. While the two initially exchanged some words in the 17th over of LSG inning, Kohli’s aggressive avatar was later brought in as it continued post-match.
