Moreover, his crucial knock gave some ray of hope for the fans ahead of Champions Trophy 2025, as they praised Kohli.
However, his stay in the middle was cut short off Adil Rashid’s bowling in the very next over. On the final delivery of the 19th over, Rashid bowled a flighted delivery. With Kohli being forced to play a shot, it turned gently outside edge and went straight into the hands of Phil Salt. However, in his innings of 55 deliveries, Kohli smashed seven boundaries and one maximum.
