Although India have lost their chance to feature in the Asia Cup 2022 final, but veteran batter Virat Kohli has finally ended his century drought by scoring his 71st international century against Afghanistan on Thursday. After scoring his maiden century in T20Is, Virat dedicated his ton to wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika.

After almost three years, Virat Kohli has scored his first century in the international cricket on Thursday. Virat smashed Afghanistan bowlers with ease and scored an unbeaten 122 runs off 61 balls.

Virat Kohli replaced skipper Rohit Sharma, who was rested for the match against Afghanistan, to open India's innings alongside KL Rahul. Both, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul (62) combined for 119-run opening stand and helped India reach a total of 212 runs with a loss of two wickets.
