Arshdeep Singh has been the bowler to watch out for the Indian team in the absence of key pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Arshdeep Singh has been playing in the XI as part of Team India consistently since the last year (2022) five-match T20I series against West Indies, and later he featured as a key bowler for the side in both Asia Cup 2022 and T20 WC 2022. Arshdeep Singh in a very short span of his T20I career has taken 41 wickets from 26 games and also in the recently concluded IPL 2023 season he picked 17 wickets.
