The five-time champions, Chennai Super Kings will take on defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match number 25 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, April 11. However, both teams will be coming off a loss in their respective previous matches, the Yellow Army will be vying to go all out and get a much-needed win, hoping to overturn their season.

While the three-time champions are coming after a defeat against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their last match, the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side were handed their fourth consecutive defeat at the hands of Punjab Kings in Mullanpur and are thus reeling in the bottom half of the points table. But ahead of their next clash, the CSK stalwart MS Dhoni was seen hitting hard in the nets.

MS Dhoni engages in a hilarious banter with Dwayno Bravo ahead of CSK vs KKR

Ahead of the upcoming clash in the IPL 2025, former CSK player and member of the coaching staff, Dwayne Bravo was seen meeting MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja on the sidelines. In the practice session, as DJ Bravo, who joined KKR as the mentor ahead of IPL 2025, walked out to meet his former teammates, Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni.

As soon as he approached Jadeja, MS Dhoni took a hilarious jibe by calling him a “traitor”. In a funny interaction, MS Dhoni met Bravo during the net session at Chepauk and in a lighthearted dig, said “the traitor is here”. It is to be noted that Bravo was part of four of CSK’s title-winning campaigns under MS Dhoni’s leadership. He also served as the bowling coach of the side in 2023 and then replaced Gautam Gambhir as KKR’s mentor.
