A recent positive news amidst speculation about Carlo Ancelotti’s future at Real Madrid for the club’s supporters is the reported agreement between the club and Vinicius Jr. over a contract extension, hopefully keeping the Brazilian winger at Spanish capital for many more years to come. Vini’s current contract at Real Madrid is set to expire in 2027 and there were rumours of Saudi Pro League clubs looking to swoop up the player with a big-money contract. Vinicius had previously brushed off such reports and had stated that he was committed to staying at the club for a long-time.
And recent reports which have come out now suggest that Madrid will be offering a four or five year contract extension to their number seven with a hike in wages and other bonuses as well. The recent signing of Kylian Mbappe has already added a lot of firepower to Real Madrid’s attacking department and the contract extension of Vinicius Jr. will only strengthen it further. The young Brazilian winger has been enjoying a good season with Los Blancos as he has already racked up 20 goals and 14 assists in 46 games so far.
