Virat Kohli, the former India captain donated his signed India T-Shirt and Cap for ‘Go Dharmic Auction’. Kohli is set to return to action after a long gap of nine months in the red-ball format. He will don his whites in the clash against Bangladesh in the two-match Test series, starting on September 19 in Chennai. Notably, with the home series against neighbours, India will kick off their Test season.

Notably, last year, the right-hander donated one of his jerseys from the India vs Pakistan game which was played during the ODI World Cup 2023.

During the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, the 35-year-old needs 152 runs to reach the 9000 Test runs landmark. Currently, after playing 113 Tests, he has 8848 runs to his name averaging 49.15 including 29 centuries. The last time he played for India in Tests was against South Africa in the first week of January this year.
The two-time World Cup winner would be aiming to get back to his best batting form against the Asian rivals. The first Test will start on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram stadium, Chennai. Notably, after playing six Tests against Bangladesh, Kohli has scored 437 runs averaging 54.62 including two hundreds.
