The match 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 saw the Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals host Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 6. After winning the toss, the home skipper invited RCB to bat first.
The 35-year-old went on to become the first to hit a century in IPL 2024 and also claimed his eighth in the tournament history. But during Virat Kohli’s 113-run knock stay in the middle, a moment caught the attention of fans as Kohli gestured of slapping Indian and RR spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. The light-hearted moment came in the 18th over of the RR vs RCB match in Jaipur where Kohli pretended to slap Yuzvendra Chahal after hitting him for a maximum.

The video of the incident is going viral on social media which Kohli and Chahal sharing a light moment on the field. After RCB’s inning in Jaipur, Virat Kohli handed Chahal his Purple Cap after the latter scalped two crucial wickets for RR.
While the table-toppers, Rajasthan Royals will host Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday, April 10, the RCB will travel to Mumbai to lock horns with Mumbai Indians on Thursday, April 11.
