On April 15, Royal Challengers Bangalore took on Delhi Capitals at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru for the match 20 of Indian Premier League 2023 season. It was a one-sided encounter which RCB won handsomely by 23 runs and inflicted the fifth consecutive loss on DC in this IPL season.

When this moment happened, the RCB opener was sitting on a chair with a bat in hand and helmet on, waiting to go out and take guard for his team in the middle. In the same video, Kohli was seen having a cordial chat with Ricky Ponting and Shane Watson, two of the coaches of Delhi Capitals.

During their bowling innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore were clinical from start to finish. They picked up 4 top order wickets of Delhi Capitals inside powerplay to peg them back massively. At the end, DC were restricted to 151/9 by the RCB with the young upcoming pacer Vijaykumar Vyshak picking up 3 wickets for 20 runs in his four over spell.
