Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally ended the drought of 18 years and ended up winning their maiden IPL title defeating Punjab Kings by six runs in the final of IPL 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on June 3. With this, Virat Kohli also got his hands on the IPL trophy after several heartbreaks from the last 18 years and the tears in his eyes were enough to show how much this moment meant to him.

It was also an emotional moment for the family members of all the players who have been a part of the franchise throughout the season. Virat Kohli’s elder sister Bhawna Kohli Dhingra also shared a few snaps of a celebration after RCB’s victory along with brother Vikas Kohli and their mother as the family went emotional after watching Virat lifting his maiden IPL trophy.

Bhawna Kohli reacts to teary-eyed Virat Kohli after RCB’s title win

As RCB were nearing their maiden IPL title, Virat Kohli couldn’t hide his emotions as his eyes were filled with tears as he could finally see his dream turning into a reality. As soon as the final ball of the match was bowled, Kohli completely broke down and took a moment before celebrating with the teammates. Kohli’s sister Bhawna also reacted to her brother’s breakdown after the match.

She shared a post on her Instagram where she wrote “This night this moment where we celebrate this dream which made us cry which made us laugh but the wait that you did is far too long each and every second of the moment needs to be experienced with stillness and a strange calmness that it’s actually done.”

“All of us can’t express the humility and thankfulness towards almighty and millions of fans who were right behind RCB through thick and thin this win is everybody’s personal win .Your tears were felt in the eyes of everyone who loves you ,we cried with you because you my little Veeru are gods chosen one who brings so much joy and inspiration in everyone ,blessed to witness this and someone in heaven is smiling in his usual smile looking at his son making him proud,” Bhawna Kohli further wrote.
