In the post-match interview, Horford praised his teammate Derrick White who also hit important three-pointers in the win. “I felt like the guys kept finding me time after time. Also Derrick White hit some tough shots there, too,” Horford said. “I was just getting the looks, knocking them down. That’s that.”

He also expressed how he is appreciative of playing in the finals for the first time in 15 years. He said, “Um, you know, just grateful for this opportunity. Um, ah, you know, it's uh, um, it's just going out there and playing basketball at the end of the day, like, you know, that's just what it is,” he continued.

“And I'm just grateful to be in this position. God has put me in this position and it's something, that I embrace and uh, and I'm excited about and um, just excited to be able to share this stage with this group of guys. We have *** lot of great guys here and guys that have really bought into what we're trying to do and it's just fun to see all that come together.”
