UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira broke Francis Ngannou’s long-standing record to become the hardest puncher in the MMA. Ngannou set the world record in 2018 when he used a machine to measure the intensity of his punching power. The video was released by PowerKube in 2018, and according to it, Ngannou’s single punch packed 129,161 units. For the last six years, the record was held by the French MMA artist.
The 36-year-old Brazilian fighter is set to return to the octagon soon, where he will aim to defend his light heavyweight title for the first time. He will face Jamahal Hill in the main event of UFC 300.
