The charismatic skipper of Chennai Super Kings, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, has time and again proved that he is not merely another cricketer, but a legend with an enormous heart. Be it managing the field cleverly during the games or meeting his fans with a warm smile on his face off the field, the 41-year-old surely knows how to make his way among the hearts of those who adore him. This time the former India skipper became the reason behind the smile of ground staff of the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, popularly known as Chepauk.
After the smashing victory of Chennai Super Kings over the reigning champions Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2023, Dhoni signed autographs for the ground staff of the Chepauk stadium, and gave them cash rewards as a thanksgiving token, taking CSK's celebrations to next level. He made sure that the hardworking staff were duly rewarded during the ongoing season of the famous cash-rich league. In a video posted on the official account of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni could be seen clicking pictures with the staff, signing autographs and giving them cash rewards. The heartwarming video has gone viral in no time, melting hearts all over again.

It is worth mentioning that the return of Chennai to their ‘Anbuden’ made the entire season very special for the Chennai fans. As there have been speculations that this might be the last season of the franchise skipper, fans are ensuring that they don’t leave any opportunity to see their hero play live in the yellow jersey. Speaking of the game, Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans to pave their way into the finals for a record 10th time. In the final summit of the tournament slated on May 28, Sunday, they will lock horns with the winner of Qualifier 2, to be played between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans on May 26, Friday.
