Nepal kept their World Cup Qualifiers hopes alive after beating UAE in the must-win league 2 clash on Monday (6 March). After winning the toss, Nepal posted 229/8 in their 50 overs. They then restricted UAE under 200 to win the match by 42 runs. But what caught attention of many was the celebration after a UAE wicket by Nepal player Dipendra Airee.

It was in the second innings with UAE batting at 174/7 when the spinner came into the attack. While he dismissed Asif Khan on the second delivery of the 42 nd over, he continued his brilliant run as he then caught & bowled Karthik Meiyappan on the third delivery of the over. All was well until Airee did a somersault to celebrate Meiyappan’s wicket.

Even netizens did shy from reacting on his celebration. While some questioned it to be a bird or an airplane, a few others hailed his athletic celebration.
