Draymond Green has a long history of on-court brawls and the Golden State Warriors forward has also served many suspensions in the NBA. During the Warriors' home win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, Green was involved in a fight with Desmond Bane and their confrontation led to the Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins getting knocked down to the floor.
The Warriors beat the Grizzlies 137-116 at the Chase Center despite Memphis forward GG Jackson II scoring a game-high 35 points. For the Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga scored the most points (26) followed by Klay Thompson (23) and Andrew Wiggins (22).
In the second quarter of the Warriors versus the Grizzlies, Draymond Green got into a scuffle with the Grizzlies big man Santi Aldama as Desmond Bane intervened to stand up for his teammate. As Bane tried to pull Green's hand, a push-and-shove battle began between them with other players trying to separate them. While separating the two, a crowd of Warriors and Grizzlies accidentally knocked down Taylor Jenkins to the floor.

Green has been involved in many altercations with different players in the NBA this season. In December last year, the 34-year-old Warriors forward received an indefinite suspension from the NBA after hitting the Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face and received a Flagrant 2 foul and ejection. In November last year, Green was handed a five-game suspension after he forcibly grabbed Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert around the neck area in “an unsportsmanlike and dangerous manner”.
With the win against the Grizzlies, the Warriors improved their regular season record to 36-32 and are next scheduled to face Tyrese Haliburton's Indiana Pacers at the Chase Center on Friday night.
