The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis pulled off a brilliant diving catch against Mumbai Indians. The Bangalore-based franchise was all over the five-time champions reducing them to a score of 48-4. Indian batter Tilak Verma held on till the end but RCB continued to pick wickets at regular intervals.

Hoping to improve his team's scoring rate, all-rounder Hrithik Shokeen attempted to loft Harshal Patel over the offside. Here, Du Plessis placed at mid-off perfectly anticipated the ball and moved back to take a stunner over his shoulder as before tumbling to the ground.
