The fourth and final Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy is underway at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the Day 1 of the ongoing Test did not have a great start for the hosts, things might turn around with the second day of play coming in place.

However, on Day 1 of the ongoing fourth Test a hilarious incident took place. As the players took the field after one of the breaks fans in the stands stood strong as they cheered for former skipper Virat Kohli and Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. All was well till the time Shubman Gill crossed a group of fans. These fans shouted, “Humari bhabhi kaisi ho, Sara bhabhi jaisi ho” as Gill crossed them.

 

Without much attention, Shubman Gill simply walked off with a smile to take the field.

Talking about the match so far, Australia are in a commanding position on the back of Usman Khawaja’s unbeaten 150. He has been well supported from the other end with Cameron Green looking strong with a score of 95 off 135 deliveries.

 

Earlier, stand-in skipper Steven Smith won the toss and opted to bat first. While Ravichandran Ashwin drew the first blood in Travis Head in the first session of the opening day, Mohammed Shami sent Marnus Labuschagne back to the pavilion. Later, Ravindra Jadeja and Shami striked  again with Australia ending day 1 with the scoreboard reading 255/4.
