Earthquakes have been the most recent calamity which has recently jolted several parts of the world. After a massive earthquake hit Turkey and the neighbouring countries causing loss of life and property, the death toll of the disaster is still counting. In a recent development, a 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Pacific coast of Panama on Tuesday (April 4).
However, there were no immediate reports of any massive damage, but the basic amenities have definitely shook things around there. In one such instance, a football match which was going on in the country saw a halt due to the earthquake. Video of this moment was captured and is now going viral on the internet.
In the video it can be seen that the stadium lights were seen swaying as soon as the earthquake hit Panama. Players also stopped and moved in the middle of the ground along with the referees. The spectators also rushed from the stands after the earthquake hit and halted the game.
Talking about the match, the division league game which was being played between Atletico Chiriqui and CD Universitario ended in a goalless draw. While the Atletico Chiriqui next face UMECIT FC on April 15, CD Universitario will face Herrera FC on the same day.
