After Australia registered a 3-0 clean sweep over West Indies in the three-match Test series, the two sides are locking horn in a five-match T20I series. Although, the Mitchell Marsh-led Australia side registered a series win, they went onto extend their lead by 4-0 margin when they clinched the fourth T20I on Saturday, July 26 at the Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts.

Australia won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. The home side posted 205 in their stipulated 20 overs with Sherfane Rutherford top-scoring with a 15-ball 31. For the visitors, Adam Zampa starred with the ball, picking three wickets in his four overs, whereas Aaron Hardie, Xavier Bartlett and Sean Abbott, each picked two wickets.

The ‘Big Show’, who starred with the bat as well with his 18-ball 47, was seen bringing his best on the field as he pulled off a stunning catch near the boundary rope in St Kitts. The moment unfolded in the 15th over of the West Indies innings when Romario Shepherd on strike, looking good after having scored 28 off 16 deliveries. On the second ball of the over, Shepherd unleashed his prowess and hammered the ball flat, down the ground.

However, no one expected what was set to come as Maxwell, who was positioned near the long-on, ran to his left and jumped in air to collect the ball. Just before landing on the field, he threw it over towards Cameron Green, who completed the catch, sending the Windies all-rounder back to the pavilion.

With the Aussie already winning the T20I leg of the tour by 4-0 margin, the home side will hope to get a consolation win as they host Australia in the final match, set to be played at the Warner Park in Basseterre, St Kitts on Monday, July 28.
