Gujarat Titans (GT) wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler was spotted playing street cricket with kids on Mumbai roads. The 34-year-old recorded his presence in India’s financial capital for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 game between his team and Mumbai Indians (MI), at the iconic Wankhede Stadium on May 6. In the last-ball thriller, Gujarat chased down 147 runs in 19 overs and emerged victorious by three wickets. Buttler chipped in with his 30-run knock off 27 balls. With the amazing win, Titans have reclaimed the top spot on the points table with eight wins and three losses.

A day after the triumph against MI, Buttler posted a social media story in which he can be seen facing a delivery from a kid, who bowls a yorker to the former England captain. Dropping the video story on Instagram, Buttler commended the kid’s excellent delivery and wrote, “Great Yorker.”

GT will look to hammer Delhi Capitals on May 11 to reserve the playoffs spot

Gujarat are in brilliant form and they will look to take the momentum ahead against Delhi Capitals (DC) on May 11, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The win against Axar Patel’s side will almost earn Gujarat a place in the playoffs as their net run-rate is the second-best in the tournament.

Both GT and DC clashed against each other in the high-scoring match on April 19 at the distinguished Narendra Modi Stadium. Chasing a total 204 runs, Gujarat witnessed the belligerent side of Buttler, who smashed an unbeaten 97 off 54 with his bat and grabbed a couple of catches as a stumper. His sensational effort also made him the recipient of the player of the match (POTM) award. In the upcoming match, Buttler will be expected to repeat his previous performance against Delhi.
