Gujarat Titans wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler showed great athleticism as he took a flying catch with one hand to dismiss Vipraj Nigam in match number 35 of IPL 2025 against Delhi Capitals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. During the 18th over of DC’s innings, Buttler jumped towards his right side after Vipraj edged Prasidh Krishna’s delivery. The wicketkeeper grabbed the ball in his right hand and ended up taking a spectacular catch.
Vipraj Nigam went back on a golden duck on the second ball of the 18th over as Prasidh Krishna was on a hat-trick. The GT fast bowlers had a great day with the ball as he registered the figures of 4/41 and is now the leading wicket-taker in IPL 2025 with 14 scalps in seven matches.

Jos Buttler hits match-winning 97* as GT hand DC their second defeat in IPL 2025
Along with great wicket-keeping, Jos Buttler also turned out to be a match winner for Gujarat Titans with his unbeaten 97-run knock against Delhi Capitals at Arun Jaitley Stadium. With the help of his knock, GT handed DC their second defeat of the season.
Batting first, DC posted a total of 203 runs for the loss of eight wickets. For DC, skipper Axar Patel top scored with 39(32) runs while Karun Nair and KL Rahul contributed with 31(18) runs and 28(14) runs respectively. Apart from that, Ashutosh Sharma gave finishing touches with 37(19) runs. In reply, Jos Buttler remained unbeaten on 97*(54) runs, with Sherfance Rutherford contributing with 43(34) runs. After that, Rahul Tewatia smashed a six and four in the last over as GT chased the target in 19.2 overs while losing three wickets.
