What a day it has turned out to be for cricket lovers. After witnessing a sensational century from India Capital's all-rounder Ashley Nurse in the first innings, Gujarat Giants' star Kevin O' Brien added more glory to the match by hammering the second century of the day during his run chase.

In response to Capital's 179/7, Gujarat Giants opener O Brien showed his intentions from the very second over of the match as he smashed three boundaries off Liam Plunkett. The Irish batter appeared at his best during the run chase as he hit 15 boundaries and three maximums in the second innings of the game.

The 38-year-old took just 56 deliveries to reach triple figures and interestingly he also completed his century with a maximum, just like Ashley Nurse in the first innings. However, O'Brein could not finish things for Gujarat Giants as Liam Plunkett dismissed him in the 18th over which led to a bit of a stumble towards the end but the team eventually won the match by 3 wickets.
