During the second ODI between India and England at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Sunday, February 9, India’s Virat Kohli was seen having a small chat with a former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen at the boundary line. As England were batting first in the 2nd ODI, Kohli, who was place near the boundary went towards Kevin during the break between the overs as two were seen having a conversation.
After that, Kevin Pietersen also joined the commentary panel of Star Sports where he revealed his conversation with Virat Kohli, to Aakash Chopra, and Suresh Raina who were at the commentary box at that time. Before that, both Chopra and Raina also made assumptions about what Kohli would have Kevin during their small chat.

During his commentary stint at Star Sports along with Aakash Chopra and Suresh Raina, Kevin Pietersen revealed what conversation he had with Virat Kohli during the England’s batting in Cuttack ODI. Firstly, Chopra assumed that Kohli might have asked Pietersen about the properties in England.
“Well, he lives abroad most of the time now, so he could well be asking him about real estate in London and some good localities there,” Chopra said.
“Never ever assume things. I can use an analogy about assumptions, but won't here," Kevin Pietersen replied.
After that, Suresh Raina also made a near accurate guess that Virat Kohli and Kevin Pietersen might have had a conversation about golf and safari. Replying to him, Peitersen said that thaat Raina wasn’t far away in predicting the conversation.
“You're not far wrong there, you know, I have told him [Kohli, you've got to start playing golf. What a great game it is,"
