The match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants saw a short halt in the penultimate overs of the Hyderabad innings. This all happened in line with the no-ball confusion which even left the two batters in Henrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad unhappy.

Just after the no-ball incident, the next ball saw some crowd throw some unidentified items towards the LSG dugout. This saw both the on-field umpires and the LSG staff including Andy Flower furious. Meanwhile, the groundstaff and the match officials looked into the matter, the stadium echoed with the chants of “Kohli…Kohli”.
However, some people claim that the chants broke out when Gautam Gambhir took the field during this halt. It is to be noted that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir and other LSG team members were involved in a heated exchange earlier this month in a home game for the Lucknow-based franchise on May 1.
Talking of the ongoing match, Aiden Markram-led side opted to bat first after winning the toss. They posted 182 in their 20 overs, courtesy a blitz knock of 47 from Henrich Klaasen.
