
Barcelona winger Raphinha scored a stunning free-kick goal against Arsenal at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Playing their second pre-season friendly, the Catalans got off to a flying start thanks to a clinical Robert Lewandowski finish. But the Gunners soon drew level as Bukayo Saka found the back of the net at the 13-minute mark.

But this dead-lock only lasted for the next 21 minutes when Raphinha stepped up to take a free kick from far outside the box. The Brazilian winger made no mistake as he curled in the ball as Arsenal keeper Aaron Ramasdable misjudged the ball's trajectory and conceded the goal.

Soon the Gunners levelled the scores as Martin Ødegaard assisted Kai Havertz for his second club goal in the preseason to close out the first half. The second half was witness to a similar back and forth as the Premier League 2022-23 runners-up doubled their lead in the 55th minute on the back of a Leandro Trossard long-range strike.
The Belgian once again went past Barcelona's gloveman Iñaki Peña in the 78th minute as the victory seemed certain for the Gunners. But in the dying moments of the match, Ferran Torres pulled one back for the Blaugrana before Fabio Vieira sealed the win with an 89th-minute strike as the match ended 5-3 in Arsenal's favour.

After this fixture, Barcelona will take on arch-rivals Real Madrid at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Whereas Arsenal will face off against French side AS Monaco in the final of the Emirates Cup at London's Emirates Stadium.
