During the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay seemingly took an X-rated jibe at Triple H and Stephanie McMahon while being interviewed by Renee Paquette. The comments from the AEW performer, which made Renee Paquette uncomfortable on national television, were regarding the rumor that he is afraid of the grind that a WWE schedule puts a pro wrestler through.
It was last week when Triple H made an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, where he talked about how he is glad about not hiring superstars in the WWE who like to work less and prefer a lighter schedule. The WWE Chief Content Officer also remarked that “if you're not in it for the grind at that point early in your career, you have no business being here.”
Will Ospreay seemingly address the comments from Triple H on AEW Dynamite while stating that he has no idea where the rumors about him being afraid of the grind came from? The AEW performer talked about traveling from the UK to the USA and back every single week, still delivering some of the best matches in the world of professional wrestling.
“Normally I wouldn’t rise to this type of bait, but seeing as the guy that said it, he is only in the position he is in because he was grinding on the boss’s daughter,” remarked Will Ospreay, which invoked a huge fan reaction at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, but at the same time, it made Renee Paquette uncomfortable.
