Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, joined the Men in Blue squad in Zimbabwe and showed off his humorous side during training. After missing the first two T20Is, Samson was picked for the third fixture where he played a cameo to help to post a total of 182.
But before this game, Samson was exiting after a practice session alongside Washington Sundar and Rajasthan Royals teammates Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel. Here, Sanju Samson was in a jovial mood as he turned into a reporter and was mocking his young teammates.
Sanju Samson turns reporter; jokingly asks to "zoom into" Parag, Jurel and Sundar
In a video shared by RevSportz, Samson is seen walking with his teammates where a journalist asks Sanju sir you only talk. He then replied by saying here is Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel and Washington Sundar and then trolled them by saying that 'Zoom In' on them.
Coming back to the 3rd T20I, India took a 2-1 lead by registering a 23-run win. Describing this performance, Indian captain Shubman Gill said, "Definitely it feels very good, it was a crucial game for us, the way we started with the bat and ball was good. The wicket was a bit double-paced, the oddball was gripping and it was not easy to hit the length balls, that's what we discussed with our bowlers. We know that if there is something in the wicket, it will be more with the new ball, and as the ball gets old it's a bit easier to score. Everyone is contributing and that's a good sign."
