Star Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan stunned everyone recently after he went on to lose 17 kilos in two months, showing his dedication to make a comeback in the Indian team. Notably, Sarfaraz was snubbed from the Indian squad for the ongoing Test series in England. He was also asked by the management to lose weight to make a comeback in the Indian team.
After that, Sarfaraz Khan sent a strong message to the selectors by losing a total of 17 kilos from his body in a span of two months. Recently, Sarfaraz also reshared a post on his Instagram which was from an old interview of former Test captain Rohit Sharma. During an interview, Rohit recalled a moment from the home Test series against England in 2024 where Sarfaraz’s tactic helped India to get a big wicket. Speaking further, Rohit also said how fun it was for him to play with the young boys during that series.

Sarfaraz Khan made his Test debut for India in a match against England in Rajkot on February 15, 2024. It was an emotional moment for Sarfaraz’s family, especially his father Naushad Khan who was present at the stadium while his son received his Test cap. After that, Rohit Sharma, who was India’s captain in that came to congratulate Sarfaraz’s father.
"Everyone knows what you have done, how much sacrifices and hard work you have done for Sarfaraz. Many many Congratulations to both of you," Rohit said to Naushad Khan in a video shared by BCCI.
After this, Naushad Khan said to Rohit, “"Dhyan rakhana sarfaraz ka sir (Please take care of Sarfaraz sir"). After this, Rohit replied "Arrey Bilkul Bilkul (definitely)."
