Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore faced each other in the second qualifier at the Narendra Modi Stadium which for the first time was filled up to the brim. The biggest cricket stadium in the world wasn’t allowed to host a capacity crowd but in the second qualifier, the fans rocked up the stadium as the atmosphere was electric.

One of the best examples of the magic of this incredible and energetic crowd was when the entire stadium was recorded singing ‘Vande Mataram’ in sync in a video posted by Twitter user @RS05_1993. The clip was captioned, “About last night.... Goosebumps ❤️???… #RCBvsRR  #RCB”

In the game, the Rajasthan Royals registered a clinical win thanks to a scintillating century by Jos Butler. RCB had a mediocre first inning where they put up 157 runs in their 20 overs. Then in the second innings, it was the Jos Butler show, as he smashed 106* in 60 balls. Reacting to the win, RR captain Sanju Samson talked about their plan in the game as he said, “It was tough (after a loss in the last game), but we are used to bouncing back in the tournament.”

“In IPL it's very normal that you go through ups and downs throughout the tournament. We lost a few games, we knew how to come back and we did really well. The wicket was a bit sticky and was helping the fast bowlers a bit, it had really good bounce and was easier playing the spinners,” he continued.
