In an extraordinary turn of events, Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to pull off one of the best wins in the history of IPL against Rajasthan Royals. Chasing 215 runs, SRH needed 17 runs in the final over where Sandeep Sharma had the ball. After a double on the first ball, Abdul Samad hit an incredible six down the ground.

The next three balls went in the favour of the Royals as Hyderabad managed to score only four runs. Then with five runs required off the final delivery, Samad hit the ball straight into the hands of the long-off fielder. But shockingly, that delivery was deemed a no ball and then on the preceding extra ball, Samad smashed  Sandeep Sharma for another stellar six to win a crucial game for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Reacting to this insane victory, SRH captain Aiden Markram spoke about how the team stayed  aggressive throughout the game. He also had some praiseful words for the star of the night Abdul Samad.

The South African said, "Emotions turned quite quickly, nice for us to get over the line. Chasing 215 isn't easy, and guys contributed all along to chase a big target. We knew in a quick outfield like this we'll score more than expected, but we had to be aggressive. Abhishek started up off, and then Tripathi gave him company. Then those cameos from Phillips and Klaasy. (On Samad's finishing skills) I think you got to train it and put yourself under pressure. You are playing high-risk cricket, so that's where technique comes in."
