On Saturday, August 3, Pedro Porro, the Tottenham Hotspur star, unleashed a rocket strike past Sven Ulreich in goal for Bayern Munich during a pre-season friendly in Seoul. At the Sangam Stadium, the thunderous hit from the Spaniard brought Tottenham Hotspur back into the contest, but ultimately, Bayern Munich prevailed 2-1.
Following an impressive first full season at Tottenham Hotspur, Pedro Porro was expected to be a part of the UEFA Euro 2024 for Spain, but he didn’t cut to the surprise of many. The right-back wasn’t even picked in the 29-man Spanish provisional squad for the tournament after the conclusion of the club football season where he scored four goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.

With that, Pedro Porro, who must be feeling about proving his worth to the Spanish team management, started the pre-season in style. He scored a wonderful goal for Tottenham Hotspur from long range, putting the ball past two Bayern Munich players, who were tracking back while giving goalkeeper Sven Ulreich no chance to stop it in the 65th minute.
Notably, after joining Tottenham Hotspur on loan in January 2023 from Sporting Lisbon, Pedro Porro made the permanent move to the English club last summer. The deal went through after Spurs triggered the £39 million release clause in his contract with Sporting.
Pedro Porro has been one of the go-to players for Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, since the start of last summer.
