Ahead of the Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru clash, fans were presented with a wholesome moment between two of India's modern-day greats Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir at the Eden Gardens. The duo has often budded heads but also shared some historic partnerships like the 2011 World Cup final and hence have been a huge topic of discussion.

Before IPL 2024, tempers were high between Kohli and Gambhir as the Delhi natives were involved in a massive spat after the clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Hence when RCB hosted KKR earlier this season, many expected that the pair would have another flare-up. Still, the exact opposite happened as the former India teammates shared a hug at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Continuing this rekindled relationship, the duo shared a wholesome interaction ahead of the KKR-RCB fixture in Kolkata. The pair is spotted engrossed in a deep discussion in a couple of videos shared on the Knight Riders' social media handles.

Addressing their interaction with the Kolkata Knight Riders - Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Virat Kohli talked about how the fans now don't have anything to argue about. Speaking at an Asian Paints event, Kohli said,  "People are very disappointed with my behaviour.  I hugged Naveen, and then the other day, Gauti bhai [Gautam Gambhir came and hugged me. Your masala is over so you're booing. We're not kids anymore," he continued."
