Team India pulled off another stunning win over Australia to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the fourth consecutive time. Chasing a total of 114, India wasted little time and finished the game in 31 overs. But along with the win, Indian fans have been enjoying a funny moment from before the start of Day 3, involving Virat Kohli, which has gone viral on the internet.

Ahead of Day 3’s play, Virat Kohli was practising with the rest of the team members. Here Kohli was seen chatting with players who standing around Shubman Gill. Suddenly as the discussion continues, Kohli is seen inappropriately hitting Gill as the bunch jumps out laughing.

Going back to the game, it once again was the Ravindra Jadeja show as the Gujarat-born all-rounder took home his second consecutive Player of the Match award. After picking up three wickets in the first innings, Jadeja ran through a decent-looking Australian batting lineup while picking up seven wickets. He also scored 26 valuable runs, as India cruised to the win.

Reacting to this performance, Jadeja stated how he enjoys bowling on these tracks and also talked about how trying a sweep against him, especially on tracks like these isn’t a good idea. He said, “ I think I was enjoying my bowling. These wickets suit me because the oddball spins and some stay low.”

“I knew they'd play sweeps and reverse sweeps, so my idea was just keeping it simple and straight. I knew they were looking for runs, so the plan was just to bowl into the stumps. If they make a mistake, I have a chance. Don't think a sweep is a good option against me on this kind of wicket (laughs and walks off).”
