With the conclusion of the 17th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the action has now shifted towards the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. The marquee tournament, which will host its ninth edition in the USA and the West Indies, will commence from June 1 with co-hosts USA scheduled to take on Canada in the tournament opener. However, ahead of that, the teams have commenced the warm-up fixtures scheduled by the ICC.

South Africa vs TBA: South Africa will also feature in their first warm-up fixture ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. However, the other team is yet to be decided but the match is scheduled to be played at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill on Wednesday, May 29 at 8:00 pm IST.

England vs Pakistan 3rd T20I:
The third T20I which was scheduled to take place at the Sophia Garden in Cardiff on Tuesday, May 28 between England and Pakistan was washed out. After the conclusion of three T20Is in the four-match series, it stands in favour of the hosts after they clinched the second T20I by 23 runs in Edgbaston on May 25.
T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches: Oman and Namibia win their respective clashes; USA vs BAN abandoned
On Tuesday, May 28, three T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches took place. While Oman beat Papua New Guinea by three wickets at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Namibia defeated Uganda by five wickets with seven balls to spare at the same venue later in the day. Furthermore, the match scheduled between the co-hosts USA and Bangladesh was abandoned with a ball being bowled at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
India to play intra-squad warm-up match ahead of BGT 2024-25
