Team India and New Zealand are the only two teams yet to lose a game in the ongoing ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023, however, one of these two teams will get their first loss on Sunday as they are scheduled to face each other. On the other hand, defending champions England continued their struggle to win games as South Africa registered their biggest-ever win in ODIs. Adelaide Strikers raised eyebrows after kicking off their WBBL 2023-24 campaign with a dominant win over Melbourne Stars.

ODI World Cup 2023: India vs New Zealand

The table toppers New Zealand and hosts India, both have won their opening four matches, are scheduled to face each other as one of the teams will concede their first defeat of the tournament. The Men in Blue and the Blackcaps will look to continue their winning run when they face each other at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala on Sunday at 02:00 p.m. IST.

Women's Big Bash League 2023-24

Brisbane Heat vs Perth Scorchers: The 5th match of the tournament is underway between Brisbane Heat and Perth Scorchers at the  North Sydney Oval, Sydney. Winning the toss Perth invited Brisbane to bat first and the latter registered a mammoth total of 229 runs at a loss of seven wickets as opener Grace Harris scored an unbeaten 136 runs in 59 balls. Sophie Devine's Scorchers will have to score 230 runs to clinch the top spot in the WBBL 2023-24 standings.

Sydney Thunder vs Sydney Sixers: The 6th match of the competition will be played between city-rivals Sydney Thunder and Sydney Sixers on Sunday at 11:55 a.m. While the Sixers lost their opener against Melbourne Stars, the Thunder will commence their WBBL 2023-24 campaign on Sunday.

Samarawickrama's unbeaten 91 helps Sri Lanka record 5-wicket win over Netherlands

The 19th fixture of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 had the Netherlands locking horns with Sri Lanka on October 21, Saturday at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The Netherlands were coming off a win over South Africa, while Sri Lanka, with no wins in the tournament thus far were sitting at the bottom of the standings.  Sri Lanka batters in the names of Pathum Nissanka, Sadeera Samarawickrama, and Charith Asalanka played decent innings to get the team their first victory of the season.

South Africa register their biggest win in ODI history; win by 229 runs vs England

South Africa and England both squared off against each other on Saturday in Mumbai after facing a World Cup upset in their respective previous matches. While England all-rounder Ben Stokes played his first match of the tournament on Saturday, the Proteas registered their biggest win in ODI history after placing a huge target of 400 runs and restricting the defending champions to 170 runs in 22 overs.

As per several reports, while Ishan Kishan was stung by bees on his head while practicing in the nets, Suryakumar Yadav, who is likely to replace Hardik Pandya in the XI, got hit during the net session.

The Legends League Cricket (LLC), featuring retired international cricket players is back with another promising and entertaining season. The 2023 season of the tournament will take place across five cities across the country from November 18 to December 9, 2023. The season opener of the competition will be played in Ranchi. Apart from the capital city of Jharkhand, Dehradun, Vizag, Jammu, and Surat will host different fixtures.

WBBL 2023-24: Adelaide Strikers thrash Melbourne Stars by 148 runs

The reigning WBBL champions, Adelaide Strikers kicked off their 2023-24 campaign on a winning note against Melbourne Stars on Saturday. The fourth match of the WBBL 2023-24 between Strikers and Stars was played at the Karen Rolton Oval in Adelaide as the Strikers absolutely dominated the fixture after scoring 177 runs and then restricting the opposition to 29 runs in 10 overs.
