WBBL 2023-24: Sydney Thunder vs Melbourne Renegades
Heather Knight's Sydney Thunder are currently squaring off against Hayley Matthews' Melbourne Renegades at the Junction Oval in Melbourne. Sydney won the toss and opted to bat first as Tahlia Wilson and Chamari Athapaththu opened the innings for them. In the WBBL 2023-24 standings, the Thunder are placed fourth with two wins in three matches while the Renegades are placed seventh with just one win in four matches.

Pakistan registered a dominating seven-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the 31st match of the ODI World Cup 2023. The average-scoring match took place on October 31, Tuesday, at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Batting first, the Shakib-Al-Hasan side could manage to reach 204 runs before the Men in Green bundled them out in the 46th over. After a brilliant bowling display, the 1992 champions continued their dominance as openers Abdullah Shafique and Fakhar Zaman contributed 68 and 81 runs, respectively to achieve the target in just 33 overs.

Amy Edgar's 4-wicket haul helps Scorchers beat Sixers by 36 runs
Ellyse Perry's Sydney Sixers continued their struggle with winning matches as they lost their last game against Perth Scorchers on Monday by 36 runs. Batting first, the Scorchers put 166 runs on the board at a loss of eight wickets thanks to Alana King's 33-off-14. While chasing the target, skipper Ellyse Perry scored a well-fought 59 runs off 48 balls, however, she lacked support from the other end. Amy Edgar picked up four wickets while Sophie Devine and Alana King dismissed two players each to end the Sixers inning at 130 for 9.
