India’s spinning wizard Ravichandran Ashwin is set to make his comeback in the ODI squad after a gap of more than a year. The number 1 Test bowler in the world, Ashwin will be seen donning the blue jersey during the ODI series against Australia. After having a successful Asia Cup 2023 campaign, the Men in Blue are set to take on Australia in a three-match ODI series commencing on September 22.
The Indian chief selector Ajit Agarkar and Indian captain Rohit Sharma announced the playing XI for the upcoming series, where KL Rahul will be the captain of the first two games. Ash, as he is fondly called by his teammates and fans, Ashwin played his last ODI in January 2021 against South Africa.
